i hv watched this movie 5 times till now and i think i will watch it again!!!

whtta movie man!!

well after a long long time in d history of tamil cinema, a movie s released with no big stars and 11 new faces with a realistic story set in d back drop of a typical housing board colony in chennai .. i think the debutant director venkat prabu has walked away with great success in his brave attempts with this movie ..

The story mainly focuses on gully cricket and revolves around the 11 players of the team 'sharks' and how they manage to beat their arch rivals 'rockers' .the entire story is taken in a lighter vein which is one of the main plus points ...Nearly everyone have done their job to near perfection while premji and jai stand out in their performances ..

But the main reason behind the success of this one is the realistic dialogues in local madras slag filled with slapstick comedy throught ..i have nearly mugged up the movie now and premji'z "enna koduma sir ithu" even while fighting is jus totally hilarious ... at no point of the movie does the story drag and the use of multiple frames while showin the matches helps to maintain the pace of the movie ...overall when u come out u feel entertained and satisfied tht u hv got your moneyz worth.

BOTTOM LINE :'enna koduma sir ithu'..lol A MUST WATCH MUVIE!!!

p.s how cn a person resemble someone else so much ..am talkin about jai resembling vijay here .. it just baffles me!!

hmm since i hv never blogged abt d muvies tht i watched .. jus thought i ll give it a try ... well this ll surely not be the one explainin the plot .. the music ...sceenplay and stuff ... it s just my honest opinion about the muvie ..

i saw this a few days after my examz gt ovr ... we reached some 10 mins before d show and got d tickets easily ...i mean we were greeted by a half empty theatre whn we entered... many had warned me against watchin this ... but alas d brave gal tht i am decided to give it a try ... hmm ..but tht day i learnt tht my friends knew me better!!!

the film startz with a scene in the airport which s copied frm d muvie "hum Tum" to d tee .. the story drags on with songs jumpin up suddenly ... and i think d poor director hired raju sundaram and d other fello becoz this handsom hero vinay dosen kno to do even d exercise dance ..u kno what i mean ...

actually in a good romantic film d story of unnale unnale will come for just 5 mins and rightly so .. it is just d drab age old story of misunderstandings between d guy nd d gal .. but watchin d shit for 3 hrs ... itz jus like takin in slow poison...

The director hd tried to compensate his weak story line by shootin nearly d entire movie in australia .. which s just d one and only one good point about this movie .. but i still wonder as to why people lamely copy from other movies ... is there such a lack of creativity in them .. nearly half d scenes which u think r good are copied frm movies like dil chata hai .. kal ho na ho ..hum tum .. this is d first movie in which i nearly dozed off in d theatre what with all the three lead characters not knowin tamil ... and their lip synchronisation with d voice over being pathetic...

the only reason behind thiz muvie runnin till now is because of d delay in d release of sivaji .. anyways ...after watchin this movie i have learnt a lesson ...always read d review before going for a movie !!!

BOTTOM LINE:watch this one if u hv some sleeping problem

Random Happenings

*My English ,atleast my spellings r getting worser by d day ... well its bound to happen due to messaging and chatting for most part of d time ... hope i dont write some crap in my UTs which r filled with crappy answers anyways not to forget my beautiful handwriting .

*Going to finish reading Michale Cricton's 'State of fear'... truely enjoyed reading this book where he tries to disprove global warming ...it has the right blend of facts and fiction ...I think i can rightly say that he is the god of science fictions .. and hey he sucks at mystery/thrillers ... 'The Great Train Robbery' being his worst book.

*My bus is becoming dangerous by d day .. every day we yell ,we scream, we gasp.. as though we r going on a roller coaster .. We keep our fingers crossed not knowing whether we r gonna reach home or whether its gonna be a direct trip to swargalogam...all thanks to our kudigara driver ..

*Last week i saw a goat getting killed by a racing van while returning home ... As always i was looking out of d window and saw this goat crossing d road .. a second later this van came from d opposite direction in full speed... hittin d goat ..throwing it off some 10 feet and it went on without stopping...it was a disgusting sight to watch... well am just glad that it was a goat and not a human being.. i dunno whether am being rude or optimistic here

*Had our bus day last Thursday ...it was d usual holi powder.. miranda bottles.. cake..more holi powder and 7 up and yea we had d snow effect too in d eve..i was forced to take bath thrice that day :(... never have i done that in my life

*This is d busiest sem ever ... we r being made to write assignments in nearly all subs including maths :( sigh...

*3rd sem was heaven ..we had loads of free hour and in spite of that we cut classes just to sleep ;) ... but this sem is being just d opposite ..we might be having special classes on sat to complete d portions and we r forced to cut classes in order to finish some stuff or other ... a pathetic state indeed

*The labs are another head ache and vp lab is the place where u can see a lot of blinkin clueless faces like me ...

*Last but not d least My college culturals INSTICTS2K7 is coming up on march 8th ,9th nd 10th. Looking forward for it ... Waiting for d much needed break...c ya Ppl there..

VETTAIYADU VILAYADU!!!!!!!!

It started out like just any other day .nothing gr8t happned throught the morning ..no classes were left free in the pretext of teacher's day and no wishes were made to the teachers. infact we had an exxxxxxxxtended DAA period which lasted fr nearly 1hr .so when we had nearly gone to our usual deep sleep state ,the gud news broke out making us all awake and fresh. An announcement ws made tht all the afternoon classes were cancelled due to some teachers day celebration(read -three hours of total mokkai)

it was unanimously decided tht nobody ws going to attend the function . some body put forward the idea of going to a movie . watching KANK was rejected by me nd few others who were not quite gud in understanding hindi.also nobody ws in the mood of paying 100buck to land up crying fr 3 hrs . so we decided to go to melody ,to see if we hd ne luck in getting the tickets fr VV .. but the main prob was most of us din hv any/enuf money . so began the process of begging nd borrowing (we din hv time to steal). bulb gave us 100bucks nd princess hd 300 so it was enuf fr 4 ppl . gee nd div hd jus enuf money to fund them self.soon dips ,doubt ,noodles nd bhav joined us . thanks to gaya who ws kind enuf to sponsor us 400 bucks. am still surprised as to hw doubt decided to 4go the teachers day celebrations which ws supposedly important nd fun .

so there we were the 10 of us all ready to go to the muvie . it ws 12.40 whn we were ready to leave the collg . we had planned to go for the 3'0 clock show.usually it takes around 5mins to reach the main entrance . but as it turned out the previous day's rains had made the grounds soggy nd slippery .we landed up walking nearly 20mins in the longest route possible .so finally whn we reached the entrance it was nearly 1. it seemed nearly half the collg hd similar plans to either go to some place or to go home . so there were nearly 50 of them waiting outside for the bus. therefore we unfortunately hd to wait for another 40 minutes to get into a bus tht ws not crowded . by thn most of us had given up the plan as we thought tht we could nt reach the theatre by 3. neverthless we proceeded.it ws an ordinary bus ride which lasted for 40mins.
so at 2.20 we reached madhya kailash .

there ws only one bus which took us directly to the theatre ,atleast we knew only one.time ws running fast nd thr ws no sign of the bus. then there came this paavam share auto driver .we managed to bargain with him and paid 120 fr going frm madhya kailash to the theatre. but the best thing is tht there ws this one share auto nd we were 10 of us . i swear every one passing by watched us get into tht auto . it was truely one hilarious event . moi, bhav ,gee nd div sat in seat. doubt ,pricess,5paise,dips sat in the step kind of thing nd noodles nd ksh were forced to sit in the side railing. truely all eyes were on us during the entire ride.it ws a miracle tht we managed to reach the theatre without being hurt . Infact a forigner, on seeing us in the signal asked how many of us were thr . he ws really flabbergasted whn we replied 10. we would hv as well told him 'welcum to india dude' .. newaz after quite an amazing auto ride (the auto also managed to stay in proper condition)we reached the theatre at 2.55.

we managed to get the tickets fr VV .wewh it would hv been a disaster if we hadnt gttn the tickets . but the seats were in the first few rows .i hd never watched a film sitting this front in a theatre but nobody cared as it was VV nd we were damm excited . the film ws gr8t . but most of thm felt tht thr ws an ovr dose of violence.i din feel nething of tht sort bcoz i hd been watching a lot of eng muvies of late . i personally felt tht VV hd shades of silence of the lambs nd kaakha kaaka in lots of places. still the songs were gr8t ,well picturised . if the no of killings hd been reduced by 1/2 nd if they hd showed a bit more of kamal nd jo . the film would hv been perfect.

thus the teachers day turned out to be an unforgettable day . it ws a gr8t show starter to the week ahead where we hd our IV nd sympo. will write seperate blog entries abt thm . i jus wish one of us hd a mobile cam so tht we could hv taken a pic of the 10 of us in tht share auto!

i cry::i hv been too much of a cry baby whn i was in kinder garden ..so i hv kinda stopped crying right now (all my tear buds hv dried up i guess).i rarely cry if am not able to vent out my anger on others.
i wirte::only whn am attending my eng exam ... nd whn my blog desperately needs an update.
i confuse::between the state capitals(am very bad at them)
i miss::my good old p.s.sr.sec.school whr i studied till 10th
i will::hv to stop the habit of procrastinating things.
i should try to::get up some 15mins bfore ....well thts almost impossible.
i make::coffee,noodels,hot water,rice as of now.

THE STORY OF THE LITTLE PRINCE!!

well if there is one thing which hs moved me to write a blog entry about it ...it would hv to be the successful rescue of the five yr old prince . hving fallen into a 57 feet deep pit on late friday ..mainly due to the ignorance of the local workers who were digging a bore well there nd had apparantly not covered it properly.this little kid was trapped in the pit for almost 58 hrs until he was rescued . now am not going to go into d detail of how d rescue happnd since we all hv been seeing it live ..thanks to all the news channels.. but i was really impressed with the way how the army personnels took on the rescue task and i will never forget the happiness in the face of the boy's parents,the kernel nd other army personnel on seeing prince arrive ..it was like almost their child being resuced there.
whn i saw the picture of the little kid being trapped in the pit ,i tried to imagine myself in tht situation ,i coudnt imagine myself staying in tht dreaded place all alone .. i am sure tht i would not hv survived more than 3hrs .even if i had survived there i would have surely been petrified on seeing hundreds of ppl shouting nd waving like they did whn they saw price emerging out of the well, wrapped in a blanket .being carried by an army official..
this little prince is surely a kid who is born to live , nd apparantly it is his b'day today . his mother gave birth to him five yrs ago but he has now got a new life due to the gr8t efforts of the army nd other ppl who were involved in the rescue operation .probably he wont understand wht efforts were being taken to rescue him now but surely whn he grows up he'll have a long list of people to thank .kudos to u kid nd hope u live a long nd happy life!!!

frm being a school drop out to one of the richest person in the world his growth is truely remarkable . not many will have d courage to tred in a new path . but he chose to get into d field of computers which was unknown thn . i greatly admire his courage to pursue wht he wanted to do in life nd nt wht othrs wanted him to do.

right from the day i saw the airforce show put up by the indian army in chennai i always wanted to get into one of those fighter planes nd do one kutty karnam in tht in front of my mom nd see how she reacts ;) ... i still dream about fyling in one of those aircrafts . hope my dreams come true one day!!

yeah i hv been too much influenced by harry potter . just want see tht enchanting and magical place nd learn to do magic ,ride a broom nd at the same time hv fun .

well realistically speaking i wanna visit d andamans .the breathtaking islands is surely a treat to watch . actually i started liking this place after watching the song ' kadhallika aasai illai ' frm the movie chellame which was shot thr .the place is just simply amazing

hii ppl
due to heavy atnicipation nd exception fr my new blog entry ...here it goes

well i usually hv the habit of reading newspaper in d morning ..nd a few months ago The Hindu started a new coloumn clld su do ku ..usually in my hectic morining shedule i get only time to read d first nd last page .... so i jus ignored this sdk nd continued my routine ... recently i saw rt being immersed in solving this nd i was like wht is so dammn interesting in arranging d numbers .So once whn i was totally jobless (well thts my usual state ... but this time i literally dint kno how to kill time) i came across this nd decided to give it a try once .well it was an easy one(it hs 3 levels easy ,medium nd hard ) nd it took me sm half an hour to get d hang of it ....tht was a couple of weeks bfore ...now i find myself searching fr old papers inorder to solve them ..now i hv literally become addicted to this game. nd i donno why my mom is vry happy whn she sees me solving thm ... prob bcaus thts d only proper thing tht i do these days :) ...so three cheers to my new found hobby SU DO KU ....
